Tyler S. Thomas

Undersheriff-Chief Deputy Coroner

Tyler Thomas came to the Eureka County Sheriff's Office in 2019, after working almost 8 years at the Carlin Police Department.

Tyler's ambition to become a public servent started at a very young age, in a very unortidoxed way.  Tyler was riding his bike in the 5th grade, when he was hit by a patrol car.  His interactions with the Police Officers at that scene made him want to become a Police Officer.  Tyler, his wife and their daughter immediately invested themselves in our community.  Their family has been a great addition to the Eureka community.

Tyler loves to go camping, hunting and spending time with his family during his spare time.
